I saw this Hoverfly on this beautiful flower recently and I HAD to take a photo of it.

I would have preferred to have zoomed in more, but unfortunately I didn’t have my macro lens with me!

With an ISO of 100 and an aperture of 4.5, the Hoverfly was crisp and sharp.

Also, I’ve been using my Manual setting recently and its great practice to really know how your camera works!

Of course, with a Macro lens the background would have been blurred out more – This is a photo I took earlier using a Macro lens.
